It’s War for Humanity

When terror unfolds against humanity,
When bombs are hurled on innocents,
When rockets are fired on towns,
When blasts take lives on buses.

Some one has to act for humanity.

When teens become cruel killers,
When loving moms wrap explosives,
When leaders don’t care about lives,
When a religion abandons compassion.

Some one has to fight for humanity.

When priests tell lies all the way,
When deception becomes a way of life,
When a devout becomes killer’s tool
When peace is made scarce around us.

Some one has to strike for humanity.

When principles are sacrificed for land,
When history is twisted to mislead,
When facts are changed to fiction,
When criminals are hailed as martyrs.

Some one has to battle for humanity.

When freedoms are threatened all over,
When democracy becomes a dirty word,
When tender values are trampled upon,
When human rights are violated at will.

Some one has to stand up for humanity.

You are not fighting for yourself,
You are helping victims in Mumbai,
You are going after killers in London,
You are beating attackers in New York.

You are the light in a dark world.

You are the hope for victims in Bali,
You give solace to kids in Moscow,
You are the promise for people in Spain,
You are a pillar for people in Thailand.

You are battling terror everywhere.

You are not fighting for yesterday that
Was snatched from you, you are not
Fighting for today that is threatened,
You are fighting for a peaceful future.
You are fighting a war for humanity.

In appreciation for the brave people of Israel, the oasis in the desert of chaos.
